Matthew Rachmajda, also known as Matt Rach, born February 15, 1991, is a young French guitarist, who has become well-known in the internet especially in YouTube with videos of him performing his own composed music.

MattRach has been playing the guitar since he was eight years old and has been in a band since 2003. He is so talented that he can play at many music instruments and that makes himself the bassist, guitarist, drummer, keyboardist and accoustic guitarist of his self-composed music. † Joyful Selection: Cheap Guitar + Cheap Hard Cover †

What a joy! I've managed to buy this guitar plus a cover combo at the price of RM350 only: semi-acoustic guitar RM190, hard case cover RM160 and it comes to a total of RM350.

Nicely crafted design and colour. Although its not an expensive Ibanez or Fender guitar, I still love it very much.

The good thing about it is that, its my favourite turtle back design. I've been wanting to own such guitar since my childhood and finally I've got one!

Simplicity makes perfection. There's no hankey bankey designs or graphite on the cover and this is what makes it looks original.

UNISEM, a company listed on The Main Board of K.L.S.E and also a world class semiconductor assembly.

UNISEM has recently dropped so badly like a waterfall. The effect of the weakening dollar against emerging market currencies will make it less attractive for semiconductor companies to outsource. Since most Malaysian semiconductor companies depend on outsourcing contracts from major integrated devices manufacturers from the US, these companies may lose their competitive edge in the longer term if the rising trend of the ringgit is not reversed. In short, drop of US dollar = drop of UNISEM value.

Fundamental analysis has shown decline in the revenue by 11.9% compared to last year. This may be a sad case to most buyers but look at the bright side, the narrowing of Bollinger Bands, low RSI and the rising trend of MACD as shown in the technical analysis diagram above might show a possibility of positive turning.

UNISEM, a ball that bounces back or a knife that cut through your hand when you hold it? If I can give you an answer here, I'll be definitely a God. Nobody knows the future. In the longer run, if the US dollar stays at this level, it might be a difficult situation for UNISEM to rise. The bad/good news is that, the rise of Malaysian Ringgit is not expected to slow down that soon. Hence, companies like UNISEM which trade in dollar terms should buckle up for a more challenging future.

What makes a good logo? It has to look good in black and white or in colors, be eye catching and distinguishable in all sizes whether you're seeing it from far or in the dark. Most importantly, it has to be able to make a quick impression and easy to remember.

1. Simple: Simple logos are often easily recognized, and such logos are a powerful tool to catch people's attention. Just remember K.I.S.S: Keep It Simple & Stupid, and people will remember it forever.

2. Memorable: How many people do not know McDonald's? It seems ridiculous for those who don't know about it. Nice burgers, nice services and nice logo.

3. Timeless: In order to have a strong logo, one must make sure that the logo is fashion-proof and indestructible over time.

4. Versatile: Even if you print the logo inversely, can the public recognize your logo? A good logo should be able to work both in horizontal and vertical formats.

5. Appropriate: Appropriateness for its intended purpose is very important. If you're designing a logo for a shop that sells toy, the logo need to look cheerful, colorful and fun.

A good example here it is, the Alpha.com Pharmacy. Simple and easy to remember logo.

Here's a really bad example of logo. How many people can remember such sophisticated nature of the logo? First of all, the word and the cat-like logo are too congested and clumped together. Secondly, this logo is so hard to be remembered. Malaysian government, seriously 'clever' aren't they? There's no wonder this car company can never reach a world class standard.

If you're a long term investor who seeks low risk investment, I think you should spend your RM39.90 to buy this book as your reference.

My Thoughts: reading books about investment and share market is merely a guidance for yourself and it won't do you any good if you don't practice it in real-time.

High risk high return, low risk low return. I find keeping your money in a bank's fixed deposit (FD) is one of the safest way of earning money but the return is extremely low.

How to calculate fixed deposit rate? Lets say I have $10,000 and I keep it in the FD for 12 months at the rate of 3%, i will have $10,300 upon FD maturity.

Some banks show figures such as 1 month FD rate = 2.85%, 5 months FD rate = 2.95%, whats that about?

Lets take the example of 1 month FD rate of 2.85%. If you were to put $10,000 in a 1 month FD at the rate of 2.85%, here's the formula: ($10,000*2.85%)/12 and the amount that you get after 1 month is $23.75. Pretty little amount, but better than none.

People just love watching the same thing over and over again don't they? Aliens invading Earth themed movies were produced in different titles such as 'Independence Day', 'War of the World', 'The Arrival' and now in 2010, 'Skyline'.

Yeah I would say this is a very typical and boring themed movie but what has made this movie different from others is the producers: Colin Strause and Greg Strause, also known as 'Brothers Strause'. Whats so significant about them? In case you don't know, they are the one who have been responsible for the visual effects in dozens of blockbuster movies like Avatar, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, X Men 3, Wolverine, Terminator 3, 2012, Wanted, The Day After Tomorrow, 300 and more. So this time, they're going to make it big in their own project.

Interesting Scenes:

Aliens hunting down the humans by pulling them into the ship via some anti-gravity device.

Human uses their best weapon a.k.a. nuclear bomb to gun down the aliens not knowing that these aliens are using some kind bio-organic-metal that enable them to auto-repair the ship.

Armies shooting gigantic alien creatures with their pathetic bazooka.

Air forces including stealth aircraft battling the alien ship. This scene is really impressive.

My Thoughts:

The Good:
1. Really good graphic and visual effects.
2. Unexpectedly suspend and scary.

The Bad:
1. Lousy ending.
2. Too much of quarreling and debating.
3. Simple plot.

Conclusion: Worth watching? Why not? Or perhaps you rather spend another extra bucks for 3D MegaMind.

Happy Halloween 2010. Well, is there Halloween in Malaysia? Short answer? No, not really. Halloween, if it can be found at all here, is barely visible to the naked eye.

Halloween is something of a non-event in this country. While the stores in much of the western world are without a doubt by now ensconced in Halloween candy, decor, costumes, pumpkins, and all manner of things Halloween, in Malaysia there is nary a sign of it. It is decidedly odd to not see any advertising or preparations for trick-or-treaters, haunted houses, or costume parties. What an interesting festival to miss.

It is sad to notice that we're living in an era where more people are now surviving to an age when they are more likely to develop cancer. Cancer is everywhere: I deal with cancer patients almost everyday in my previous job, I've seen my grandfather and dad being diagnosed cancer and many friends' parents as well. This is catastrophic.

There are many ways to help fighting cancer off and one of it is via food controlling. People nowadays are too busy and they tend to go for fast food which is totally a damage to the body. Optimize your food selection may greatly cutting down the risk of cancer.

Fighting Cancer With Colors: Fruits and vegetables are the best choice for a healthy diet. The more the colors, the more nutrients they contain. Note that vegetables and fruits may not contribute their cancer fighting properties directly but its long term effect is well known in term of clearing the toxins from our bodies.

Cancer-Fighting Breakfast: Folate and vitamin B may help to reduce cancer. These nutrients can be found in cereals, oats and brans.

Food Rich In Folate: Asparagus is one of the examples. There are many more presented with folate such as eggs, chicken liver, sunflower seeds and many more grain products.

Run Away From Preserved Food: Eating preserved food once in a while may not harm you but a long term ingestion of such food might bring chaos to your body. These preservatives are actually the inducer of cancers and they can be a catalyst for tumor growth.

It helps in preventing cell damage that is believed to trigger the cancer process in cells.Grape seed oil is also a powerful antioxidant that is useful to be consumed.

Alcohol Kills: Know the optimum alcohol amount to drink. Excessive intake may actually increase the risk of cancer such as esophageal cancer, liver cancer and stomach cancer.

Protection From Fluid: The average fluid requirement for a normal person is 1.5 - 2 liter per day. It may help to reduce bladder cancer.

Everything Goes Green: Green leafy food is the best. Having it stir fried with minimum amount of olive or grape seed oil is the best method. If its possible, 2/3 of your food should be consisted of green leafy food.

Dark Green Leafy Food: The darker the leaf, the better it is.Such dark green leafy food are rich in vitamin B and fiber.

Turmeric The Exotic Spice: Recently, there are many advantages being found in turmeric. Not only that it can suppress pain (Narcox), it is also found to suppress proliferation of cancer cells.

Red Berries: Raspberries, cranberries and strawberries are powerful antioxidants. These berries are recommended to eat in an appropriate amount.

Blue Berries: Blueberries and bilberries are also powerful antioxidants. Having it every morning along with your cereal or oat is always a good choice.

Sugar-Less: Not to say that sugar will cause cancer, but it will actually displace other nutrient-rich food from being absorb by the body. Anyhow, cutting down sugar intake is always pros more than cons.

Cooking Method: In the end of the day, what takes into account is the method of your cooking. Always remember, involve more water and less oil. That is the safest.

† Laura Shigihara: PopCap's Rising Treasure †

It is my natural habit to go for a deep search for those who compose great soundtracks for movies, games or animes. Laura Shigihara is definitely a young gifted music composer. She has been working as a video game music composer since 2005 and her music style ranged from orchestral themes, to uptempo battle themes, and even including songs featuring her own vocal tracks.

If you're familiar with PopCap's famous game 'Plants vs Zombies', you definitely will not miss its soundtrack written by Laura Shigihara. In the game, you'll be exposed to many cute songs and sometimes these songs will be permanently embedded into your brain. Its really brain washing. You may watch her videos in YouTube.

Just a small little intro about this game, its also known as PvZ. It is a tower defense concept game where users need to build all kinds of plants to defend against the invaders (in this case, the zombies). These plants are so cute and each of them has a different kind of abilities including plants that emit freeze shots, triple shots, or plants with heavy duty attacks.

Here's a screen shot of me playing PvZ and I only manage to survive until the 54th stage before the zombies engulf all my plants. As you can see from the photo, some of my plants have already been destroyed.

Laura's Music

PLANTS VS ZOMBIES: There are many songs in PvZ but I find this vocal version of PvZ with the title 'Zombies On Your Lawn' is the most interesting among all. You may watch the video taken from YouTube or download the .zip file from the main website. You may also watch Laura sings while playing on the piano too. Her voice is seriously as sweet as caramel.

MELOLUNE: Very nice songs can be found in her website. After listening to all the songs here, I somehow feel the presence of Yoko Shimomura and Joe Hisaishi in the element of these music.

Great music, great taste, great influences and great composing. I believe Laura will definitely shines in future as her music will speak for her identity. Its truly PopCap's blessing to have her working for them.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, Zhong Qiu Festival (中秋節), is a popular festival celebrated by the Chinese and even the Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese. The festival is sometimes known as Lantern Festival or Moon Cake Festival. There are many stories behind this festival and I only like the following stories shown below.

Story of Chang Er (姮娥)

This famous story of Chang Er was written back in 2170 B.C. The earth once had ten suns circling over it, each took its turn to illuminate to the earth. But one day all ten suns appeared together, scorching and torturing the earth with their heat. The earth was saved by a strong and tyrannical archer named Hou Yi. Story of Wu Kang (吳剛)

Wu Kang was a shiftless fellow who changed apprenticeships all the time. One day he decided that he wanted to be an immortal. Wu Kang then went to live in the mountains where he met up an immortal to teach him the path to achieve immortality. First the immortal taught him about the herbs used to cure sickness, but after three days his characteristic restlessness returned and he asked the immortal to teach him something else. So the immortal to teach him chess, but after a short while Wu Kang's enthusiasm again waned. Then Wu Kang was given the books of immortality to study. Of course, Wu Kang became bored within a few days, and asked if they could travel to some new and exciting place. Angered with Wu Kang's impatience, the master banished Wu Kang to the Moon Palace telling him that he must cut down a huge cassia tree before he could return to earth. Though Wu Kang chopped day and night, the magical tree restored itself with each blow, and thus he is up there chopping still.

Story of Jade Rabbit (玉兔)

In this legend, three fairy sages from the Moon Palace transformed themselves into pitiful old men and begged for something to eat from a the animals. In this story, a fox, a monkey and a rabbit were involved. The fox and the monkey both had food to give to the old men, but the rabbit, empty-handed, offered his own flesh instead, jumping into a blazing fire to cook himself. The sages were so touched by the rabbit's sacrifice that they let him live in the Moon Palace where he became the "Jade Rabbit."

Present Day

Tea and moon cakes are the main dish of this festival. Traditionally on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather around to enjoy the moon cake and tea drinking, as well as admiring the bright harvest moon. Accompanying with the celebration, additional cultural activities are also being practiced by people from different places such as carrying lanterns, lighting lanterns on towers, floating sky lanterns, fire dragon dance, poetry and singing competition and etc...

Blog traffic is measured to see the popularity of blog sites and individual pages. It is particularly important for bloggers who blog to earn money.

Many Blogspot bloggers are utilizing Google Analytics, or other third party tools such as Nuffnang and Alexa to observe the flow of their blog traffic. Many may not aware of the existing blog traffic viewer service provided by Blogspot. Simply go to your Blogspot 'dashboard', the 'stats' tab is at the very right side of your blog(s) that you manage.

The good thing about this service: it doesn't require any installation or configuration. Simply click on the tab will lead you to the overview of your blog. It monitors and analyzes your traffics by daily, monthly and all-time basis. Pretty impressive!

Another interesting part of this service is that bloggers are able to see which post in your blog gains the most viewers. For instance, my post with the title "Top 5 Anime & Game Villains" has achieved over 9000 views without me knowing it. At least we get to know which content in our blog attracts the readers.

Similar to Nuffnang's statistic viewer, Blogspot stats is able to show where your readers come from. Apparently, most of my readers are Americans followed by Malaysians.

Nuffnang traffic viewer may not be identical to that of Blogspot, but its uniqueness is much appreciated by many of its clients including me. Alexa has provided a certain degree of detail traffic statistic but I find certain data may not be accurate.

31st August 2010, Malaysia's Independence Day is a public holiday and I'm spending a day in Temerloh visiting my girl friend Alicia. Since its a holiday and there's nothing much to do in Temerloh, we've decided to go deer-watching in Lanchang.

If you're coming from Kuala Lumpur, you exit at Lanchang toll station, do not turn left into Lanchang town but instead, head right and drive through a narrow windy road. You won't see any cars around (I don't know why??), do not be afraid if u see a jungle on your left and right. You are on the right track. It takes about 15 minutes through that road before you see a colony of KL cars flocked along the roadside. That is how you know you have finally arrive.

'VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK', why? Perhaps there's something dangerous waiting ahead of us?

Animals To Watch In Deerland
1. Deers

We immediately understood what it meant by 'VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK' when this huge family of deers were all around me because I was holding their food.

Eventually I got kicked by some aggressive deers. Seriously, it was painful.

My girl friend Alicia is a smart one. She picked a young small-sized deer so that she wouldn't get attacked. Indeed, it looks like a naive looking deer, cute and cuddly - BUT do not be decieved, for these can be the most aggresive deers around.

This is a Taiwanese deer but strangely the name given to it was 'Bintik' and it means dots in Bahasa Melayu. The ones with the horns are males.

This gigantic deer is the local Malaysian deer, aged 8 years old. Its at least 3x the size of the other deers we visited. Just amazing.

2. Wild Cats

These are no ordinary pussy cats. They are known as wild cats or jungle cats because of their aggressive attitude. Yes, they look so cute don't they. Again, do not be deceived.Wait till you see them in action.

3. Birds

Many types of birds can be found in Deerland but there were only a few species of birds that attracted my attention. This particular one has a majestic name- Golden Pheasant. According to the staff there, Golden Pheasant prefers to run rather than fly. If it senses danger, it can suddenly burst upward at great speed. Look at how it stares at the camera in this picture. Perhaps it already sense danger now. RUN!

These little birds are locally known as 'burung puyuh'. According to Wikipedia, it is related to Quail, a kind of bird which is basically small and plump which can't fly.

4. Snakes

To be honest, this is the first time I've ever laid my hand on a snake. Its basically cold as expected. We were told that it has not been fed yet that morning. Alicia was anxious of course, afraid it would lay its teeth on any potential 'victims'. Close shot..

5. Wild Guinea Pigs

Bugsy! If you've watched Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories, you will definitely know Bugsy. Something you have to know about these furry stuff. They emit low monotonous sounds, like an orchestra of cellos n basses. These sounds cannot be heard loudly, so pay careful attention when you come across any of these piggys.

6. Bear

This bear is definitely the entertainer of the day. We were lucky enough to visit it during its lunch time. Its job was to eat and eat and continue eating. What we see in this picture is the bear being fed with a bottle of honey. Reminds me a little of 'Winnie the Pooh' though.

It was too busy to entertain us, so we entertained it instead, by taking pics with it. Me and Alicia managed to have some photo shots with this grizzly black bear.

Food For Thought: Don't even bother to wear nicely if you're planning to visit Deerland. As I mentioned earlier, I got kicked by deers. So, if your Giorgio Armani shirt has a deer paw mark on it, don't regret.

Temerloh is a town in central Pahang Malaysia, located about 130km from both Kuantan and Kuala Lumpur. Temerloh is famous for its Patin fish, a type of fresh water fish that look like cat fish. Surprisingly, I've found something more interesting than this Patin fish in Temerloh.

I'm not pretty sure about Temerloh roads, therefore I can only give you the name of the coffee shop and what is the landmark around it. This little coffee shop known as Ban Hin Coffee Shop is located in the old town area of Temerloh, just right below Ban Min Hotel at the corner of the road.

Its a very old fashioned, vintage-like shop that most people would not even notice its existence. On top of that, the place looks filthy and dirtified, and thus blind the public from all the yummy treasures within it.

This is the steam bread that one should never miss. Its soft, hot, freshly steamed bread makes your mouth drool continuously. The traditional dish is served with milky butter and richly flavored kaya paste.

Two omega-3 eggs and a glass of chilly-iced freshly brewed white coffee is the best combination you can get in this vintage-looking shop.

If you have a huge appetite, you should not miss its kon low mee (dried noodles) served with minced pork. It won't be as delicious as Penang's kon low mee though, but the simplicity of this recipe makes it original and tasty.

The shop operates from 7am till 7pm and therefore you won't have to wake up early in the morning to taste the bread. Even if you finish your work at 6pm, you still have an hour to rush to the place for its steam bread. Ban Hin is the place to be if you want the best steam bread in town.

When I was checking what are the popular keywords that lead the readers into my blog via Nuffnang, the word 'chibi' caught my attention because it was the top 5 words being searched in Google and lead into my blog post. So what does 'chibi' means?

Chibi (ちび in Japanese) is a Japanese word meaning 'short' or 'little' and this word is very popular among the manga or anime fans. Not many people around me know that I'm actually attracted to certain types of soft toys. Domo Kun is one of my all time favorite soft toys. Domo Kun (どーもくん in Japanese) is a small brown open-mouthed monster hatched from an egg who lives with a wise old rabbit underground. He can't speak and the only sound he produced is a low pitch kind of sound similar to 'do~mo~'.

Domo Kun is the official mascot of Japan's NHK television station, appearing in several 30 seconds stop-motion interstitial sketches shown as station identification during shows. You may watch the first episode of Domo Kun's origin here. Also pay a visit to the official website.

Thomas Lang is one of the freaky good drummers I've ever seen. Maybe he's not the best drummer in the world, but he's definitely the best stick trick drummer of all time! 'To play the unplayed', thats the motto of Lang that makes him become who he is today.

Born on August 5, 1967 in Vienna, Lang learnt the art of music from Vienna Conservatory of Music. While at school, he focused in learning Jazz, Fusion and Big Band styles. Apart from drums, Lang is also a guitarist and pianist. I guess this is the advantage of being a multi-talented musician. This is the very first video that I watched Lang performed his drum solo and it all started with his stick play. I was like 'wow... here's another Jojo Mayer'.

In Thomas Lang's instructional DVD, titled 'Creative Coordination' by Hudson Music, Lang emphasized about improvising other people's techniques. Through mimicking and practicing other drummer's techniques, it gives Lang more inspirations on the grooves.

This is a must-watch YouTube video about how Thomas Lang perform stick twirling while making a constant drum groove. His technique is explained so clear that you might think its easy to do. The actual fact is that, you won't be able to do so unless you practice so hard that you might find it boring. Thomas Lang appeared in another video sponsored by Vic Firth (my favorite brand of drumstick) talking about stick tricks. Its really impressive to see how he actually being so creative that he would create optical illusion while spinning the stick to make his drum solo looks more interesting.

Being unique is not easy, but if you are able to do things others have not done it before, you'll be very successful. Look at how Erik Mongrain invented his very own style of Lap-Tapping on the guitar. Originality no doubt leads to success.

Garlic (allium sativum), also known as the 'stinking rose' due to its strong odor, is a famous herb used in both the field of medicines and cookeries. Many people consume garlics without knowing much about the background stories of garlics. It all started in the ancient times long long ago...

ANCIENT TIMES

In ancient China, the Chinese believed that garlic provides more energy, alleviate depression and as an aphrodisiac (sexual stimulant).

Ancient Egyptians were very into garlic. They used it as currency, swore oaths on it and fed it to their slaves to increase their endurance and ward off illness.

Ancient Greeks serves most of their food along with garlic and wine. The Greeks also used garlic as an aphrodisiac. Surprisingly, the name is derived from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

In some ancient cultures, it was considered holy as there are legends saying that the blood-sucking vampires and werewolves are afraid of garlic's odor. Is it true? Of course they're not. In the ancient times, mosquitoes were symbolized vampirism because these creatures extract blood from the host. Since garlics are natural mosquito repellent, thus garlics are then referred as vampire's enemy.

MODERN TIMES

In general, due to the sulphur content presence in garlic, it gives garlic the weird smell and hence its medicinal value. Some people have suggested that organically grown garlic will have a higher sulphur level and hence greater benefit to health. In my experience it definitely tastes better so I prefer to have organic garlic whenever possible whether or not it's best for my health.

Raw garlic is believed to help preventing cold and flu when is taken raw. Some ingest garlic to treat acne inflammation. Other than that, garlic is also used in lowering blood cholesterol. The bad thing about raw garlic is that, it is rather 'strong' to be ingested in a large amount as it causes irritation to your gastro-intestinal tract (botulism). I've seen people allergic to garlic (most probably due to allicin). Raw garlic when is taken in huge quantity may disrupt blood coagulation. So it is best to avoid taking garlic before any surgical procedures.

Garlic extracts or garlic supplements are most welcomed by many modern people firstly because it has no strong odor, secondly and most importantly, it is easy to ingest. There is some scientific evidence that garlic can lower high cholesterol although it is not nearly as effective as regular prescription medicines used to lower cholesterol. Garlic seems to also lower blood pressure in people with high blood pressure and possibly via slowing down the process of hardening of the arteries.

There is also some evidence that eating garlic might reduce the chance of developing some cancers such as cancer of the colon, and possibly stomach cancer and prostate cancer. But there is no reliable evidence that garlic is helpful for people who already have cancer. Some people with diabetes try garlic to help lower blood sugar. But garlic does not seem to be effective for this use.

MY POINT OF VIEW

Garlic stinks, and isn't it obvious? Do not eat garlic if you plan to kiss your love ones or else they will immediately reject you. Here are a few clues how you gonna remove garlic odor from your mouth: Firstly, brush your teeth a few times using toothpaste and remember to include your tongue as well. Secondly, drink something high in alkaline such as vinegar or lemon juice. It helps wash-off the garlic odor. If you love to eat garlic so much, another way of reducing garlic odor is to swallow it whole instead of the crushed one because crushed garlics give more smell.

† Dilemma... Should I Go For GAMUDA †

Being a trader who don't have much money as compared to other heavy investors/traders, its not easy for me to make decision in such difficult time of economy downturn especially seeing Dow Jones Industrial Average moving up and down but at a bearish direction.

After SCOMIEN announced its dividend release, I'm sure many people are rushing into the market, hoping to gain a last minute profit before it drops this coming 28th July. I simply don't want to risk too much and I've sold all my shares at 1.60. Many of my professional and experienced friends told me that it will go up to 1.80 but... forget it.

Here's something that attracted my attention few weeks ago: GAMUDA. There were so many news saying that it is gonna be the leading construction group that holds the contract of building MRT in Kuala Lumpur next year 2011.

From my further research, yeah it is confirmed that GAMUDA group has submitted a proposal in January 2010. The proposal focuses in the benefit of having MRT in Kuala Lumpur. It is true that our Malaysia's current LRT system is totally stupid. Whats the point of having a non-centralized LRT system running around in KL city? STAR-LRT, PUTRA-LRT, KTM, MONORAIL... what the heck. Look at London, Paris and Barcelona. Their transit system is so well organized and it covers almost every part of the city. So whats holding me back? Pardon my mistakes because I'm not professional. These are just my point of view.

1. The price is already at a high end. If the prediction about a double dip of economy down fall is true, then I'll be in a deep shit buying it in such high price. My concept is simple: buy low sell high. Gotta be patience to wait for such 'buy low' concept. Of course I can be wrong too. If it goes up and up and up, then its a great news to everyone.

2. I gotta admit that I'm not really good in Technical Analysis (TA) as I only use TA as my indicator. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) somehow isn't convincing me to execute a 'buy'. Further more, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is somehow another important indicator for me and it shows an overbought status.

3. Fundamental Analysis (FA) is part of my way of analyze it. I gotta say that, I wasn't that convinced enough about GAMUDA too. Its quarter report in April 2010 shows an EPS of 3.62. If say the current price is 3.36, it gives a PE of 24. Thats that is freaky high and I usually won't go for company with a PE of higher than 10.

Versecity is a band formed in year 2008 and the band members consist of Micah Walker, Marcus Edwards III, Daniel Rascoe, Jared Kindel and Nelson Baradat from Houston. Versecity performs a number of catchy songs and one of the best recordings is gotta be TiK ToK.

TiK ToK is the debut single by Kesha. It was released in year 2009 and it scored the biggest single-week sum of all time for a female artist selling 610,000 digital downloads in one week. As in June 2010 (according to Wikipedia) the single had sold 4.9 million downloads in the United States alone. Kesha's TiK ToK has been played in many radio stations for weeks and in fact this song is one of the most favorite clubbing songs for many clubs and cafe.

Versecity has done a great job performing an alternative rock version of Kesha's TiK ToK. I heard this version being played in the radio when I was doing my shopping in Cotton On Mid Valley last week and I never knew there's such version exists.

I've finally put my search into an end when I found Versecity's YouTube profile and I think you should take a glance at the video of them doing the recording. It was totally owning! Micah's powerful voice, Dan's solid drum beats, Marcus and Nelson's guitar playing plus Jared's bass along with the background singers made the song sound even more energetic than Kesha's version. Predator 1987 vs Predators 2010, how does the new version compare with the original version? The 1987 original has become a modern classic regarded as an ultra-tough action film, led by the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger.

THE CLASSIC

I still remember how my dad first introduced me to this movie back in 1990 when I was 6 years old. I wasn't that interested with army war type of show and I still remember my attention was totally off the television when I see Arnold acted as Dutch, the commander of an elite force, holding his gun shooting at the terrorists in the jungle.

The strange thing was that, there were so many infrared heat sensor scenes being showed in the movie and I don't understand what on Earth this heat sensor things got to do with the whole stories.

Here comes the fun part: Dutch and his crew was ambushed by an outer space, high-tech, laser-equipped and invisible alien known as the predator. This thing can not only turn camouflage like a chameleon, it can also attacks human with all its super high tech weapons, as well as seeing human via its heat sensing visor.

"If it bleeds, we can kill it..." A memorable quote by Dutch. Well said, Dutch found a way to hide his body heat from the predator and his new aim was to kill the predator instead of escaping.

The truth under the mask: You're one ugly motha farka. I can never expect a godlike predator has such distorted face. Well then, nothing is perfect.

PRESENT DAY

In Predators 2010, the storyline is rather more confusing and its not as simple straight forward as the previous one.

In the new version, the heroes are not as tough as the previous one especially the team leader, Royce acted by Adrien Brody. The one and only remarkable thing about him is that, this guy is faster than the old bulky Dutch.

I guess if the producer just wanna copy the previous script, it would be firstly, too boring to watch a same script twice and secondly, the original one was too good especially when it is acted by Arnold. Thus, to make the whole new movie looks good and unique, the whole hunting progress takes place in an unknown alien planet.

Well, what I guess was right: Writer/producer Robert Rodriguez admitted that "we can't compete with Arnold, so its much better to go another direction to do something unexpected". In my opinion, Predators 2010 is considered 'not bad' but of course, most people watch this movie simply because of the original one. If you haven't watch the original Predator 1987, I think its time that you should go grab one DVD or you can download the movie from here via torrent.

Granado Espada, is a Korean online game launched in year 2006. It is so popular among many countries and in fact most of the players in the S.E.Asia server are from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Vietnam.

Notably, Granado Espada won the 2006 Korean awards for Best Graphics and Game of the Year. The graphic is pretty amazing for a game that is being launched so many years ago.

Its concept and design of the game can be said to be unseen in all the previous online game, such as the ability for players to control multiple characters at the same time, also known as multiple control. Each of the character will have different skills and moves that won't make the players feel dull.

Granado Espada features a unique art style based on the Baroque period of Europe, differing from the standard sword and sorcery fantasy themes or ching chong Chinese kung fu fighting theme of the genre. Even the music of the entire game is attractive enough for you to download.

The world of Granado Espada takes place on a newly discovered continent based on the setting of Americas during the Age of Exploration. Its world is divided into different maps and grouped into themed regions such as forests, tropical jungles, plains, swamps, deserts and ice fields.

The first English version of the game began Open Beta Testing in year 2007. The game was originally released under a pay-to-play model but due to high cost maintenance, many players draw out from the game. Granado Espada is then launched as a free online game and that is why this game is currently surviving for years without a problem.

Talks about 'free', of course not everything is free. If you're playing the game without paying any money, you'll ended up stuck with some normal looking character or else you'll get something really nice just like the pretty girl with a black wing standing beside my character.

† Krabi It Gotta Be †

Krabi has been luring tourists relentlessly for decades. The reason that I plan my trip to Krabi is because I manage to get a cheap flight ticket via AirAsia.

Place To Stay

There's no problem looking for places to stay because Krabi is a hot spot for tourism and it is so commercialized that you can find hotels, motels and inns anytime you want to. Thanks to Chris who help us to book Aonang Paradise with a cheap price. A plus point to be given to this hotel because they will arrange a transport to fetch you from / to the airport with a cheap price.

Thing To Do

When you talk about Thailand, you talk about massage. You can get a very good Thai massage, head and shoulder massage, foot massage and facial massage with a very cheap price in Krabi. A Thai massage for example only cost 25 baht per hour. That's me and my girlfriend in the photo.

If you're weak in sport or can't stand heat, you better don't go for kayaking. Its a very tough activity to do especially under the sun. Sun burnt and myalgia (I mean muscle ache) are common. Each pair of us will be given a boat and a pair of paddles. Behind Ash and Lily, thats Jeff, Siew Ling and Chris.

Toot toot is the main transporting vehicle in Krabi like any other places found in Thailand. I find toot toot in Krabi is more interesting because firstly, they are colorful and secondly, each of these toot toot will have their own power speaker and they play modern hip-hop songs when they travel around. It costs 40 baht per ride per persion. Of course you can bargain for a cheaper price if you have a big group traveling together. Thats Eric and Venny in the picture.

Just like Redang Island of Terengganu, snorkeling is something you mustn't miss in Krabi. Snorkeling is included in the package of island hopping. Each package may cost different depending on which island you're going to. Phi Phi Island may be slightly more expensive than others and it costs approximately 1400 baht per person.

Elephant sanctuary wasn't part of our main activity but the package that we've chosen includes it.

Riding an elephant can be quite scary because these elephants do not have suspension and thus it can be quite shaky. That's Hsio Ling and Kiat Seng in the picture. Hsio Ling was quite tension nervous about riding an elephant. "I'm scared because elephants are unpredictable. I don't know what it'll do to us", says Hsio Ling.

Motor-vehicles need petrol and elephants need fruits. After each ride, you'll be given a chance to feed your elephant. Don't forget to shake its hand and praise it for its good work. Thats Zen and Vivian in the picture.

This is a wonderful photo of Alvin giving the elephant a good bath captured by Jess. If you want to, you can request from the tour guide to shower the elephant with water hose. An elephant will never say no to shower.

Be careful when you walk around in the elephant sanctuary. These highly fibrous bombs are all around the ground. As you're riding the elephants, you can always hear them burping and farting. You can even see them shits around.

Things To Eat

Seafood and Thai food are a must to eat. But I'm gonna concentrate in the fun food to eat in Krabi. First of all, you gotta try its pancake. There are a few flavors you can find there such as chocolate, bananas, peanuts, apples and etc...

Interestingly, Pocky can be found in Krabi but not in Malaysia. Malaysia's version is called Rocky and its an imitation of Pocky.

Chang beer and Singha beer are the local beer brand. Its a must to try. Personally, I love Singha more than Chang because it tastes smoother. If I'm not mistaken, they're only 45 baht each.

Other than the local phad thai, the small stalls that you can find by the road side sell a huge variety of food. What Jess is holding in the photo is one of my favorite food: the simple but delicious roast chicken that cost 20 baht.

What To Wear

Make sure its short and light. Krabi is extremely humid and stuffy. Thus, a short pant and shirt will be sufficient.

Beach wear is definitely needed. Bikini, sun glasses, singlet, hat and short pants are the most suitable gear to wear for the girls.

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (戦場のメリークリスマス in Japanese) is a classic movie produced in 1983, directed by Nagisa Oshima.

The synopsis: In 1941, Jack Celliers, a British soldier comes to a Japanese prison camp. The camp is operated by Yonoi, who has a firm belief in discipline, honour and glory. In his point of view, the allied prisoners are cowards if they chose to surrender instead of committing suicide via seppuku. One of the prisoners, John Lawrence the interpreter, tries to explain the Japanese way of thinking, but is considered a traitor etc...

I'm not so interested with the storyline but the theme song of the movie with the title 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' caught my attention. Here's the trailer and do pay attention to the background music that sound so traditionally Japanese. Also click here to listen to the original version.

The theme song becomes popular again after almost two decades when it is sang in Utada Hikaru's version. Thanks to the fusion style of traditional and hip-hop, Utada Hikaru's Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence really make a big hit in many countries. Click here to listen Utada Hikaru's version.

Ryuichi Sakamota's piano version is a master piece that one must not miss. The song hits its peak when the strings flow in along with his harmonious piano melody.

If you're a guitarist, you must also pay extra attention to Oshio Kotaro's amazing guitar play on this song. I've never seen someone play like his way other than Erik Mongrain that I mentioned in my previous blogpost.

You can call me a 'caveman' or a 'frog under the coconut shell' and the truth is that, this is the first time I come across John Powell's name. I didn't know his popularity as a film score composer is equally famous as Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson Williams. † Dangerous Food For Your Dogs †

Here's some fact that you should know about the food that you mustn't give to your dogs because it may harm them.

Alcohol: Just like human, alcohol has the same effect on a dog's liver and brain. A small amount of alcohol is enough to cause vomiting, diarrhea, central nervous system depression, problems with coordination, difficulty breathing, coma, even death. And, the smaller the dog, the greater the effect. So if you're a drinker, please keep your brew away.

Onions: Small amount of onions may be okay for your dogs. However, it is found that large amount of onion may destroy a dog's red blood cells. Thus be careful with products that contain onions or even onion powders.

Caffeine: I've experienced palpitation and tremor after drinking 'Ipoh Old Town White Coffee'. Caffeine is no doubt fatal for a dog. Dogs that have ingested caffeine in high amount may experience heart palpitation, muscle tremor, rapid breathing and even fitting. Beware, there's no antidote.

Grapes & Raisins: Small and delicious but a high quantity may cause kidney failure in your dogs. The symptoms of grape toxicity are repeated vomiting, lethargic and depression.

Ice Cream & Dairy Products: Some small size dogs' gastrointestinal tract are not design to absorb highly condensed dairy products and this may cause diarrhea or other symptoms of GI upsets.

Nuts: Some human are allergic to nuts. So we can't exclude the dogs as well. Nuts can kill a dog.

Candy: Some of these candies contain xylitol. Xylitol can increase circulation of insulin in your dog's blood stream and cause your dog's blood sugar to drop (hypoglycemia).

Chocolate: Theobromine in chocolate is a poison to your dogs. Never let your dog taste or even lick any chocolate including white chocolate if you want them to live.

Peaches & Plums: If you're aware of this, the seed of peach and plum contains cyanide and these are poisonous to both human and dogs.

Raw Eggs: I used to think that raw eggs are good. Two problems that you might face if you feed your dog with raw eggs. Firstly, food poisoning caused by bacteria. Secondly, avidin (an enzyme exists in raw eggs) will interferes with the absorption of vitamin B and causing skin problem in dogs.

Your Own Medicines: Keep these away from both your dogs and children. Its a basic!

"Don't Stop Believing" is a recently popular song sang by the Glee casts. This song has been played over and over again especially in Malaysia's English radio station such as Red FM and Hitz FM. Click here to listen and download Glee's Don't Stop Believing.

Glee is an American musical comedy drama focused on a high school glee club known as the 'New Directions'. The song appears in the first episode of the drama and I believe this song is the center of attraction in the drama.

Glee casts really did a great job in singing this song especially the acapella intro. Great song great drama however most people might not realize that this is not the original version.

The original version of "Don't Stop Believing" is sang by the classic American Rock band known as Journey back in 1981. If you ever heard of the original version, you'll definitely feel that this song is really powerful and moving. Click here to listen and download Journey's Don't Stop Believing.

For those who are saying things like "Journey would kill Glee" or "If you like this, you have no taste in music," you guys are totally wrong. † Vampire Squid †

This creepy little sea creature known as the 'vampire squid' can be found at almost a kilometers under the sea level. Its name vampire doesn't mean that it will come out at night and suck your blood but there's some other reasons for it. The vampire squid shares shares many similarities with both squid and octopuses and in fact it was originally and mistakenly identified as an octopus by the oceanic researchers in 1903. It was then classified as squid due to most of its similarities to the squid.

The length is approximately 30cm, and it has a pair of big globular blue eyes and ear like fins. If you see the whitish string in the picture above, thats its motion detector used to identify incoming objects.

It has eight arms and unlike the squids and octopuses that we see, it has suckers only at the very end of each arms.

Here's the interesting part about the vampire squid. These eight arms are connected with a webbing of skin, which makes it look like a vampire.

Not only that, this 'cloak' of its has a very unique purpose for its survival in the deep sea. Oxygen is very rare in such environment. All thanks go to its 'cloak' that works as an oxygen captor that allow the vampire squid's to live.

When threatened, the squid can draw its arms up over itself and form a defensive web that covers its body. I was like 'what the heck?' after seeing such mechanism.

So this is the defensive mechanism of the vampire squid whenever it feels threaten or senses the danger, the cloak will cover its entire body, making it sort of like vanishes into the dark.

So this little disgusting hole is the main weapon of vampire squid where it excretes confusing phosphorescent particles to allow its escape.

I didn't know such thing survived on earth after watching National Geographic's copyrighted video about vampire squid. There are so many things remain undiscovered and really, there's no doubt that we human have a wonderful planet.

2010 is perhaps a special year for both Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year. Due to the date that move from year to year according to the Lunar calendar, Chinese New Year arrives on the same day as Valentine's Day, which has proved a headache for many gift shopkeepers who have had to try and sell gifts for both festivals at the same time. Valentine's Day is fine if it's a slow day in February, but matching up against the mighty Chinese New Year, it's no competition. Apparently the romantic pink has turned into red. This is the best Facebook game I've ever played. I'm not really a Facebook games fan but my friend Dr Cheah introduced me to this game: Castle Age, and guess what? I'm totally hooked onto this game for now.

The first thing about this game that caught my eye sight was its art work. The producers of Castle Age really spent their time in developing the game.

Just like any other Facebook RPG games, you will need to gain your experiences and golds via accomplishing the quests given. However, different quests may require different heroes. So whats the 'heroes' about?

The difference about this game is that, players can get to choose their heroes and each of these heroes will have different properties in benefiting your team. For example, some heroes will increase the team's defense while some heroes can increase the hourly income.

As for the items, the artworks are really awesome and it makes them look so attractive.

The best thing about Castle Age is that, players tend to face a number of seriously hard-to-defeat bosses. In order to accomplish the mission, some times the players have to shout for help and this is the time where the friends from all over the Facebook will come and help.

It doesn't matter whether you're an acute or a chronic drinker, alcoholism will affect the health of the consumers without fail. Being drunk is one of the immediate effects of drinking alcohol and is one of the top killers that causes motor-vehicle accidents. So how are the alcohol companies going to deliver the message of 'please drink responsibly'?

This is definitely a smart way of delivering the message by printing a graphic on the bottle cap of the alcohol drinks. When the bottle is opened, the graphic of the car appears to be distorted and it kinda remind the drinkers that car accident may happen if they drink and drive.

† Kizuna By Orange Range †

Orange Range was first introduced to me in year 2007 by my friend Alvin who is a full time Jap culture fan. Orange Range (オレンジレンジ, pronounce as Orenji Renji) is a 5 member Japanese alternative rock back originated from Okinawa. Most of their band members are childhood friends and the members consist of Hokama Hiroki (mid vocal), Miyamori Ryo (low vocal), Ganeko Yamato (high vocal), Hiroyama Naoto (guitarist), Miyamori Yoh (bassist) and Kitao Kazuhito (drummer).

Although Orange Range is not a band consist of a group handsome or muscular tall guys and in fact some of the comments that I've found in the YouTube videos criticized that they are a bunch of ugly dudes, but there's no doubt that their music is good.

If you're a fan of Bleach the animation, I bet you're familiar with Orange Range because the intro song of the first season was sang by Orange Range, titled 'Asterisk'.

Song recommendation as usual? Yea, here's a song that I would like to recommend. My all time favorite song of Orange Range is always gonna be 'Kizuna' (listen and download here). Their songs are mostly hip hop and rock, but this particular song is so different from the others. If your ears are sensitive enough, you'll realize that there's 'er-hu' being used in this song and I think that's very creative and lovely. Most of you might laugh when Ganeko the high vocal sings because he looks pretty funny in the music video.

Never judge a band by their look. Their quality is determined by the music they produced and Orange Range is the best example.

† Two Years Of Progress & Anniversaries †

I started off my blog in year 2008 when I was working in Hospital Pekan and this is the 2nd year anniversary of my blog. Hurray!

Thanks to Nuffnang that I am able to analyze how many viewers who visited my blog for the pass few weeks. I know there are many blogs with over 2000 views a day but I'm still glad that I am able to hit almost 1000 views a week recently.

I'm quite surprise that most of my viewers are from United States and follows by Malaysia. However, readers are still readers I welcome anyone to drop by at my blog. Thus I would like to thank all the readers including my friends and strangers for your supports and views!

† Why Use Mozilla Firefox †

There are so many internet browsers available out there and many people only know about Internet Explorer (IE). I've been using Mozilla Firefox for 5 years and personally I think it is so far the most suitable browser for me. Google Chrome and Opera are considered not bad but still, I think something's missing somewhere. So why do I use Mozilla Firefox?

1. It is easily located from your browser, easily downloaded and installed. After you've downloaded the installer, simply double click the installer (firefox.exe) and click 'next' all the way until 'finished'.

2. Customization of add-ons is the fun thing about Mozilla Firefox. Users can choose many types of useful and fancy add-ons (fasterfox, adblock, noscript... ) from the Mozilla homepage, making your their Firefox personalized. However, the only drawback about this add-ons idea is that it may confuse many new users of Firefox.

3. Mozilla Firefox is safer than many other browsers because of its ability to block the background running scripts and ads. The two important add-ons that I'm using for almost 5 years are NoScript and AdBlockPlus. As you can see from the image above, there are so many scripts being blocked from being downloaded into your computer, making your websites safe to visit. Note that when you're using NoScript, you need to 'allow' or 'temporary allow' certain important script of a website in order for the site to function properly.

4. Faster loading time for a page is the most important thing to me. Sometimes it can be very annoying if you couldn't get into the page you wanted to visit. However with the use of Fasterfox, one of the famous add-ons, the loading time for a page has become faster than I thought.

5. An enhanced download manager is one of the features of Mozilla Firefox. DownThemAll is so far the best download manager I've ever found in Mozilla Firefox. Very interestingly, DownThemAll allows you to download multiple files from a website at once and these files will be neatly categorized according to their extension such as exe, jpeg, avi or mpeg. Most importantly, DownThemAll can boost your download speed so much that it can reach up to 50% higher than you expected. For example, my download speed is usually 42kb/s and it reaches 67kb/s after using DownThemAll.

6. As for this point, most bloggers or advanced html users will be happy about it because Mozilla Firefox enables users to view the detailed page source of the website and most importantly it would allow the users to view the html codes of the page.

7. Neat and tidy is one of the factors that made me choose to use Mozilla Firefox. The good thing about Mozilla Firefox is that all the links will be opened in different compartments known as 'tabs' located one single window box. Unlike the old version of IE, each pop up links will be opened in different windows, making your window taskbar looks so messy. There are a few important hotkeys that you should know when you're using Mozilla Firefox.

8. Tired of retyping your usernames and passwords? I think Mozilla Firefox gives a good service in remembering passwords thus reducing the typing workload of the users. The only drawback about this service is that people tend not to remember their password.

Unhealthy diet among human beings is one of the leading causes to human diseases. Perhaps design can help to change the idea of "healthy food = lousy food" among the people? Thanks to Daizi Zheng's concept in designing the stereotype packaging in order to promote healthy food.

Something that look familiar? According to WHO, 29% of the human population are smokers. If a healthy food is to be projected via the package of cigarette pack, I guess its going to be a good sell.

I'm not sure how many Earthlings love fast food, but I can assure you that I'm one of the kind that love it to the max. Maybe I'll grow to love vegetable fibers if they come in such lovely package.

This is an interesting song performed by Sigur Ros, an Icelandic band well known for its ethereal music. Thanks Chris for introducing me to this song but the unofficial music video seems a little bit creepy and disturbing.

The music video is a project made by a student of Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design Jerusalem. I would say its a well done for this ainimated video even though it really freaks me out. I still couldn't figure out what's the video is trying to say. Perhaps its about being born but stripped away from any visual reality to prevent the world from seeing the truth?

† Places To Visit In Monaco †

Monaco is such a tiny place that it can be covered completely in a day, no joke. Usually, the reason people visit Monaco are not for its scenery or food but its reputation that has been amplified by the very famous Casino de Monte Carlo, and the famous annual Grand Prix F1 race.

Monaco is the second smallest independent state in the world after Vatican City. The city is located and being surrounded by mountains and hills, which makes it look very gorgeous.

This is another shot taken by me: a modern shopping street along with a magnificently huge mountain behind the city. It makes a great view of scenery.

With two major harbors filled with huge yachts and surrounded by many sophisticated shopping malls and multiple-stars hotels, Monaco can be said to be a rich man playground.

Although I'm not so crazy over such open displays of wealth and high class lifestyle, but it was still entertaining to spend a day walking around looking at all the luxurious cars parked around the town and women walking around with their fashionable dresses.

Most sceneries and things that you can enjoy seeing are mostly modern objects such as fancy buildings as shown above.

The architecture and design of the city is something that we should appreciate as well. Making roads across the rocks and hills seem to be a difficult task after all. However, the photo above shows how well organized the city can be.

Enough of introduction and here comes the most important part of this blog post. There are a few places worth visiting at least once if you're planning to visit Monaco.

MONACO PALACE & MONACO CATHEDRAL

First of all, Cathedral de Monaco: a magnificent cathedral, built in 1875, is the final resting place of Princess Grace of Monaco. The cathedral is located just next to the Monaco palace on top of the hill.

This is the magnificent view that you can see from the top of the hill of Monaco palace, showing one of the main harbors and the very compacted city.

GRAND CASINO DE MONACO

Just like Las Vegas, Grand Casino de Monaco is the main entertainment and the center of attraction of Monaco. In addition to the Casino, you will also see the elegant and internationally renowned Hotel de Paris just next to the casino building.

From the left, we have Wai Hong, Alvin, Kiat Seng, Me, Eric, Chee Wai, Yue Loong, Chris and Bobby. Were we getting ready to gamble off our Euros? Of course not!

OCEANOGRAPHIQUE MUSEUM & AQUARIUM

Another of the famous places to visit in Monaco, is the Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium. In the museum you will find interesting world of marine lives and plants. Specimens of a variety of sea-creatures are also found on display such as all kinds of skeletons and most interestingly, the world first ever invented submarine.

JARDIN EXOTIQUE

This is a plant market very near to Jardin Exotique. Jardin Exotique is a beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the Observatory Cave, featuring weird rock formations. Other than weird rocks, you can see all kind of roses and cactus as well. Perhaps thats the reason it is known as the 'Exotic Garden'.

You probably never thought that apple juice could be used as a natural colon cleanser. Talking about colon cleansing, many people might be thinking of taking all kind of fibers, detox diets, or even gastrointestinal stimulant medicines. However I think drinking apple juice to cleanse you colon can be so much easier than anything else.

Have you ever tried drinking apple juice in an empty stomach? I've tried it a lot of times and I always had a very bad diarrhea each time approximately 15 - 20 minutes post-consumption. I thought that was an expired product but it wasn't. The diarrhea persisted even though I've switched a few brands. Many people suffered from the same condition and here's a few complains that I've found from the internet.

As I was searching for information about apple juice, it gave me a shock when I found out that apple juice is actually a natural colon cleanser. Its ability to stimulate bowel movement can be the reason of my diarrhea. People often say "an apple a day, keeps a doctor away" and sometimes I think its true. Apple juice contains very good source of soluble fibers and antioxidants.

† Depapepe The Acoustic Guitar Duo †

If you're a guitar lover, I'm sure you gonna love this Japanese acoustic guitar musical duo of Takuya Miura and Yoshinari Takuoka. The name of the band is 'Depapepe' (デパペペ) and the duo was formed in year 2002. They became popular starting the year 2004 when their talents were noticed by the fan via a few albums they've performed.

Most of their songs are really good and expressive especially in a few singles that they've performed. One of the best songs that I love very much is Summer Parade. The song Summer Parade (watch the video here) is filled with the mood of vacation and summer. Takuya and Yoshinari really did a great job in playing this song with their combination of guitar strumming and plucking.

† My Lenovo S10-2 †

What a sad moment... My 5 year-old HP Pavilion DV1000 laptop has finally 'dead'. It has suffered from impaired battery life, dysfunctional altered audio speaker, discoloration of the LCD screen and sometimes there's this electric current transmitted from the metal piece on its keyboard.

Laptop is a very important tool to me and I must bring it no matter where I go. However I realize that carrying a 2.3kg laptop around is not as easy as you think. Thus I've decided to change my taste by going for something really small which is a netbook.

It wasn't easy to make your choice because there are so many types of nice netbook around you. Toshiba, Fujitsu, Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, etc... I realize the expensive ones are brands like Toshiba and Fujitsu whereas cheaper ones are Acer and Dell. Its really not easy to choose because certain brands are expensive and cheerful but some are cheap and nasty. Its all depend on what you're looking for.

Finally I've decided to get Lenovo's S10-2. You might ask me why. Well there, first of all, it only costs me RM1299 and it has Windows 7. There's also another model of S10-2 that only costs RM1199 but its running in Windows XP.

What I like about Lenovo S10-2:

1. Its light and small. Without the battery, I think its less than 1.2kg.

2. Slim and the design looks good.

3. It has sufficient amount of USB ports, in total of 3.

4. Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz | 1GB DDR2 | 160GB HDD | 10.1″ LCD are considered not bad.

5. The keyboard is better than my father's Fujitsu netbook. Its easier to type somehow.

What I don't like about Lenovo S10-2

1. No express card slot.

2. Protruding battery because the battery seems a little bit bulky.

3. Only 1GB RAM... Why can't it be 2GB?

Well there, I hope this piece of little netbook will last me for at least 5 years and of course it all depends on how am I going to use it.

† My Favourite Fighting Scenes †

When you ask somebody whats the best fight scene they've ever seen, they'll definitely bring up a great one they've seen recently or a really strong memory from childhood with the longevity to stand out today. There's a lot of fighting scenes I've seen and the following URLs and pictures are those that I loved the most.

A brutal fight between spiderman and the green goblin in Spiderman the movie. In the fighting scene, spiderman was badly punched and kicked by the green goblin but the power of love brought spiderman back to life and won the game.

Stephen Chow's Kungfu Hustle has several nice watching fighting scenes but personally I like this part the most. The video shows 2 blind assassins trying to kill other martial artists using their unique deadly art.

Chocolate, also known as Fury is a Thai action fighting movie produced in year 2008. I was surprised to see a sweet looking girl will have such amazing stances of kicking and punching. To be honest, I didn't think the storyline of this movie was attractive but I really enjoy seeing Jeeja Yanin's fighting scenes.

This is one of the most classic anime I've ever watched at the age of 12 (1996), Street Fighter 2Animated Movie. The fighting scene of Ryu and Ken versus Vega was truly amazing. It doesn't matter how powerful you have become, no one is invincible. Vega forgot this concept and he was beaten unexpectedly in the movie.

I believe everyone recognizes this scene. Its the scene of Neo fighting army of agent Smith inMatrix Reloaded. I still remember the moment when I see so many agent Smith appeared and I got so excited, thinking how Neo's going to fight them.The fight lasted almost 8 minutes and I think Neo was seriously exhausted. If you don't believe it, try to watch the fighting scene again and you will really feel Neo's tiredness.

Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children final battle between Cloud Strife and Sephiroth along with the great music 'One Winged Angel' performed by the Black Mages was a hot topic to talk about when the movie was first released few years ago. Its been almost 3 years but the fighting scene still deeply crafted in my memory.

Finally, my most favourite fighting scene came from Yip Man the movie. In the fighting scene Yip Man alone using his Wing Chun martial art fought against 10 karate Japaneses. I guess no explanation is needed after you've watched this video.

This is something cute I've hunted recently: the e-Sal's monkey.

It came with a hat and a sweater. Of course there are many more types of monkeys available but I'm more attracted to this camouflage sweater monkey.

Its actually a coin box as well. Too bad its brain isn't that big and thus you can't insert too many coins in it.

† Customizing A New Year Scrapbook Planner †

It is pretty simple to make your own scrapbook planner and it can be a meaningful gift to someone you care about. Collecting the sources to customize your own planner can be difficult but imagining how your planner going to be like is even harder. Its gonna be pretty simple to make your own planner by referring to the steps shown below.

How To Make A New Year Scrapbook Planner:

STEP 1: Collect some unwanted box. These are good to be used as the hard cover of your planner.

STEP 2: Measure and cut the box to make the front and back cover of the planner, make sure it fits the size of A4 papers.

STEP 3: Wrap the box pieces with any nice color papers.

STEP 4: Design your planner hard cover with your imagination.

STEP 5: Get a stack of A4 papers and design their contents. The contents may include monthly calendar, notes or some interesting cards.

STEP 6: Punch some holes across the hard cover and the A4 papers.

STEP 7: Circled rings can be used to bind the hard covers and A4 papers together.

STEP 8: Design and decorate the pages using your creativity and imagination.

STEP 9: Decorate the side of your planner can make your planner look lovely.

STEP 10: Completion. Taa daa... Here we have a planner.

† The Rise Of Padini †

Padini may sound Italian but it is actually not. It is a homegrown company brand operating under the Padini Holdings, which has a mission to be the best fashion company (in Malaysia? in the whole world?). Padini sells ladies shoes, accessories, children’s garments, maternity wear and other fashion products and clothing and the co-brands including Vincci, Padini Authentic, P&Co, PDI, Seed and etc.

The stock market of Padini has been doing very well for year 2009 and as you can see from OSK's chart, the stock values keep rising at the very beginning of year 2009.

1 year of indicator may not be sufficient although it is showing a bull trend.

As for a 5-year view of Padini's growth in volume, we can see its doing pretty well.

I'm not pretty good in analyzing all the values but the 2008 reported annual earnings was 0.32 per share for a total of 384.6M which sound quite promising.

Will Padini continue growing in the coming year? We're not pretty sure because some experts claimed that every rise will definitely have a fall. However, I'm pretty sure that Padini will be able to do well in future.

† A Magical Christmas Movie: A Christmas Carol †

Disney's "A Christmas Carol" is an animated retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel. This is a great film to watch during Christmas season. Its a simple but very meaningful film. What impresses me the most is its Christmas soundtracks and thank God I've owned all the songs now.

The story goes like this: Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter old man who is selfish and keeping himself nasty to everyone around him for years.

During one of the Christmas eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley, who is now forced to spend his afterlife carrying heavy chains forged from his own greedy ways.

Marley warns Scrooge that he will suffer an even worse fate if he doesn't repent, and foretells that he will be haunted by three spirits that will help guide him.

The first spirit who visits him is the Ghost of Christmas Past, a small ghost made of fire, shows Scrooge visions of his own past that take place on or around the Christmas season, reminding him of how he ended up the greedy man he is now.

The second ghost is the Ghost of Christmas Present who laughs most of time, shows Scrooge the happiness of his fellow men on Christmas day.

The third and final spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, shows Scrooge the final consequences of his greed.

Because of the three Christmas ghosts, Scrooge begins to realize how most of his life has been wasted because of wealth. Ever since that day, Scrooge has changed to become a nice and loving old man.

"For unto us a child is born..." Year 0000 Bethlehem, Jesus, the son of God was sent to earth to cleanse the sins of human, and to die for mankind.

This is a creative and funny short video clip (movie trailer by MadTV) about the Terminator trying to save Jesus from being crucified.

In the video clip, you can see how the Terminator talk to the three wise men and Jesus, killing the soldiers and Judas like nobody's business. One of my favourite part is when Jesus trying to convince the terminator not to kill people.

Jesus: You cannot go around killing people!
Terminator: Why?
Jesus: Because its one of God's commandment, thou shalt not kill.

The company is known for its Animusic compilations of computer-generated animations, based on MIDI events processed to simultaneously drive the music and on-screen action, leading to and corresponding to every sound.

There are many good music produced by Animusic and one of the best that I liked the most is 'Pipe Dream' and 'Pipe Dream 2'. Other good music are 'Future Retro' and 'Drum Machine'.

Riding super bikes isn't popular yet in Malaysia but such culture is building up each days when I see more and more bikers traveling on the highways, wearing their thick leather jacket along with backpacks. This has inspired me to pay more attention in appreciating super bike.

† Food Hunting In Kuantan: Tom Yam Fried Rice †

Its been a tiring weekend after 2 days of methadone on-call and I've fully utilized the very last of all my energy in today's 2-hours-non-stop badminton game. Of course it is necessary to reward my with some good food. So me along with Jason, Quek and his girlfriend Kheng Ying went to this Thai food restaurant for our dinner.

This little restaurant with the name 'Aanine', located next to Medan Selera food court in Taman Sri Kuantan (Kuantan Garden). Surprisingly many Kuantan people do not notice the existance of this small little restaurant.

Both the owner and the chef of this premise are Thai and no wonder the food here are full of Thai-sensation. I've been to this shop a few times but the food that I order most frequently is the simple looking Thai Tom Yam fried rice shown above.

Personally I love the Tom Yam fried rice the most and I guess this has influenced Jason a little bit, making him craved for the fried rice for the past few weeks.

Even the herbal packaging looks attractive with its earthly colors and textures.

† 25th Anniversary Studio Ghibli Concert †

What a joyful moment. I've managed to buy Studio Ghibli's 25th Anniversary Concert DVD at the price of RM29.90! On top of that, it comes with a free soundtrack CD.

The whole event consist of Joe Hisaishi, the composer as well as the arranger for the music of that night’s concert. Other that conducting the orchestra, Joe also performed the piano solos.

There are many lovely songs found in the DVD including my favourite soundtracks from 'Naustica of the Valley of the Wind', 'Howl's Moving Castle', 'Spirited Away' and 'Princes Mononoke'.

DVD Screen Captures

Joe Hisaishi really did a great job in the concert. He managed to put all the well known pieces into a finely tuned medley.

Ayaka Hirahara was there performing 'Summer Day' taken from the recent popular 'Spirited Away'.

The concert was brilliant and the music performed were almost 99% similar to that of studio version. Even if I don't listen to it everyday, I still think it'll be a great album to keep and collect.
